Decided to modernise and go green. added the green tree frog as a laugh. though didnt think it very funny when they jumped on me in the showers on our trip around Australia in the 90s

flickr learnings

Have added my China photos and would like to use the mappr tool to add photos to a map like they have. I would love to create a montage of the China photos. Looking back on the whirlwind that was China I have great admiration for the country, its people and their achievements. mappr no longer use Flickr as a source but I am sure that there are other providers out there that could give me a map of China that I could match photos with..... I shall just have to keep looking and learning!

I'm back!

Hey after 12 months in hibernation, I'm back! I am very excited. Have added my own photo but am trying to remember just how to do that. Whew! this is enough for today. My brain is exhausted.

What I learnt this week

This week has been very busy - what with all of the spring racing activities and I havent even been to the races or seen a horse up close !
I have created my own Trading card via Flickr and am getting better with uploading and editing photos. Have learnt about "mashups" they were a bit of fun but please dont ask me to explain how they work - you will need to follow the links on the Learning 2.0 page for Flickr.
This week I am going to investigate the vodcasts and podcasts and the Library thing and see if I can catch the rest of the crowd doing this course

fancy conquering the "blog". With the help of Katie I managed to publish my entries instead of getting stuck in a draft loop hole! I shall be getting very confident soon.
